Day 1, Girls of China Eastern Airliner

It was noon time,Dec 18, and it was busy time for McDonald's. I acted quick and got me myself and my three bags some place to rest, eat and drink something.

It was already a long day for me. Firstly, carrying my heavy bags, I fought my way at morning rush hour onto a public bus finally to the bus station, ( taxi would be dead expensive for the distance and traffic jam) ; then narrowly caught the bus to this airport in Shanghai, which took a little longer than two hours. I didn't dare to stop. I rushed to Chunqiu airliner's ticket counter to reconfirm I was on their list for the flight from Shanghai to Xiamen, because I could not any tiny mistake for all the connecting flights and prepaid hotel room. I saw it the very second when the staff opened their long guest list.I was No.1 the very first. No wonder, I told myself, you booked this flight exactly one month before .

Sitting next to me were a group of young flight attendants in uniforms of China Eastern Airliner. Even though I tried hard not to listen to their topic, it was hard since they were so excited about their training programs and first flights. But soon their topics were switched to fashion and makeups.

One of seven girls noticed two Chunqiu girls walking past, said to the rest of the group:

'Look, look at their uniforms. They are so green, as that of the postmen.' burst into laughters.

'Yes, it's said their small company has only three planes in total.' , which was echoed with lots of disbelief.

How professional they were. Chunqiu is the first discount airliner operating in China, but their low prices have been very stirring in monopolied aviation market, like for a new route from Shanghai to Shenyang, their promotional price is only ONE yuan, excluding the taxes. Chunqiu is becoming more and more accepted, especially with business travellers. And this would be my first time to fly with Chunqiu in order to reduce my travel cost as much as possible.For this domestic flight I was to take from Shanghai-Xiamen ,I paid only 349 yuan( about 45 dollars) .

These girls seemed to be enjoying themselves very much. And after pleasant talks, they took out their gadgets to curl their eyelashes, and redo their makeup. Most ridiculously, they began nail-cutting on the table, right next to me. I hurriedly covered my coffee cup and began to drink it again only after they took off and I checked none of ufo inside.

Around one hour later, while I was waiting for boarding, I saw those girls again. With other about 30 attendant boys and girls, they were led and explained to by their supervisor, about all the airport facilities. All right, they are new, green, and in need of more instructions; however, who can help with their laughing at other airliners, and lacking basic manners?

Then came the announcement, it's boarding time now! And there I saw them, Chunqiu flight attendants in dark green.
