puzzling summer

The temperature hit 35 degrees c, or 95 f yesterday, according to the local paper,which was the hottest summer day up to now. But wait, really? I remembered another hotter day last Sunday, clearly. When I came out of Exit 10, metro line 2, Shanghai and was searching around the location of Bestbuy, I felt suffocating waves and waves of heat.

Bestbuy in Shanghai Xujiahui district is the first of its outlet in whole China. Compared to other e markets in the neighberhood, it attracts more customers obviously. New, clean, open-priced,customer-friendly, it encourages touches and test uses. And to me, the coolest gadgets are apple's big screen pc and other accessories of ipod. On over 22 inch the screen ( I couldn't carry that big stuff back to Hangzhou), I tested sending emails on Safari,apple's new browser safari.

That evening, on the way to Portman hotel for the acrobatic show, we were caught by a very sudden big thunderstorm. All came just within minutes. The sky became dark,and the wind began to hoal. Immediately the rain began to pour. Excited but also scared I was, while I looked out after I found a table at the Starbucks and began enjoying their salard.

In both Shanghai and Hangzhou, last week it has been quite a few surprises of thunderstorms. And the paper also says, already 10 got killed and another 12 injured during them last week alone in Hangzhou. The detailed report about the locations of accidents adds more intense. For I've there, walking by the lake side; I've been around that construction site; yes I remember too, I was close to there. But thank god, I was not close to the hits of thunders.

There were nights with rains falling, but when I woke up next morning I was welcomed by sunshine and blue sky.Puzzled, I would keep wondering, are all thunders and lightings only in my dream, scary movie dream? And if it rained, really rained, where had all of them gone?

Similar puzzle last night too. I kept my air-con on all night through. I guess it had to work after having long hibernation. It humed on, way better than its strong and very open complaint the night before. So, vaguely I heard like rains; again it's another morning of strong sunshie and hot air.
