'journey home extremely cursive'

Y. and A. flied back to China this morning. And after their landing in Chengdu, A. sent me a short message, which read' our journey home was extremely cursive.' By that she meant very difficult and not smooth. But she didn't say any details about that, which left me worried since then.

My yesterday was a little slow, and a little boring, which made me miss them already now. In the morning I went to Durbar square. Too early and I was the only tourist as it seemed. Chased by some little girls for money and chocolate, I wandered around beyong the square. Bought four mp3 disc at a surprisingly cheap price, 25 rs each, something like 2.3 yuan. Just compare: in Thamel, the tourist area, one cd costing over 125 rs. Sitting on the terraces, observing the going on of the streets, taking pictures of the faces, then spent 250 rs (a ripoff) into a very boring palace complex, with dusty pictures of their kings' families. Pictures were not allowed, even of those beautiful carvings and courtyards.Hoever, climbing to its five-storey top is a wonderful chance to see this city. After that, wandered into the commerical area of Indra chowk, finally finding the traditional style of lamp, A. asked me to look for her, then walked about half an hour back to hotel, by chance in the middle way, found the hidden temple for Seto Bharirab, with very fine bronze carvings. And out of the temple, paid 30 rs for 15 big bananas, and 30 rs more for two pancakes.Took a nap and went out for dinner at fancy roadhouse cafe , trying to order a pizza, but too big (30 cm being the only size) for me alone, so ending up with a salad and one coke, at the cost of 270 rs.

It was still black out . The only thing I could do, was to take a shower and delete some photos, and then sneaked out into the streets of Thamel again.
